The apartment is close to the shopping-center Schönhauser-Allee-Arkaden. There ar many bars and restaurants with ecxellent offers. Käthe-Kollwitz-Platz is another famous area with nice stores, restaurants and coffeshops.
At some days of the week, there is a market, that offers fresh fruits and vegetables. Also handcrafts and other little treasures can be found.

The walk can be continued with interesting sightseeing. The Fernsehturm with the restaurant that rotates will give you an excellent view over Berlin. Also Brandenburger Tor and the Reichstag are easy to be reached. The Bus no. 100 stops at almost all these famous places.

For night time entertainment there are for example differents concerts in the Kulturbrauerei. If you want to watch great baketball matches, Max-Schmeling-Halle is very close, and Berlins famous Team Alba is playing there.
