The apartment is close to the train-station Hackescher Markt. Many nice little stores with interesting clothes, bags and shoes will be found on a walk in the neighbourhood. After the shopping tour various restaurants offer delicious dishes. The building of -Hakesche Höfe- has also a theater.

At some days of the week, there is a market, that offers fresh fruits and vegetables. Also handcrafts and other little treasures can be found.

The walk can be continued with interesting sightseeing. The Fernsehturm with the restaurant that rotates will give you an excellent view over Berlin. Also Brandenburger Tor and the Reichstag are easy to be reached. The Bus no. 100 stops at almost all these famous places.
